Nancy Kurtz

I am and have been an industry leader in the fabrication of custom slipcovers, draperies and soft home furnishings for the past 14 years, running my own business Cover Your World. Through this my passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces has grown.
Have you ever noticed how a place feels when you walk into it, some you are uncomfortable in, some you just want to come in and stay, some inspire you, some energize you, that to me is good design if you can capture a feeling and it still be functional and beautiful, you have succeeded.
I don't just decorate a place to make it look nice, but design it to feel a certain way...like home.
I have also delved into silk screening and am working on my own fabric line that captures my love of natural organic fibers and simple designs that can compliment any home.
I have adopted a 15 Step standard of procedures which have proven to be beneficial to the experience of working with me and knowing what to expect.

Nancy has an eye for room layout, especially making small spaces work functionally, as well as eye pleasing. She is very creative and imaginative, and listens to what the client wants, and works to achieve the perfect setting. She definitely aims to please, and has the skills required. Her use of color and textile treatments are exceptional. She is very adept at window and sofa coverings. I highly recommend Nancy to redesign your home, be it one room, or your entire living area. She will work within your budget and make just small changes, or a complete home redesign, depending on what you want to achieve."
